Middle School Bands
Wonderland Trip - April 30th 2026
7:15 a.m. – Load Trailer
7:45 a.m. – Leave for Amarillo
9:45 a.m. – Arrive Amarillo – change into dress clothes
10:50 a.m. – Warm-up
11:20 a.m. – 7 th / 8 th Grade Performance
11:50 a.m. – Change into park clothes
12:15 p.m. – Head to Lunch
12:30 p.m. – Lunch at Mr. Gatti’s
1:50 p.m – Buc-ee’s!
4:00 p.m. – Arrive at Wonderland
4:30 p.m. – Gates Open
5:00 p.m. – All you can eat Hot Dogs! Available from 5-7.
9:30 p.m. – Park closes - Load Buses
10:00 p.m. – Head home
11:49 p.m. – Arrive Abernathy, USA

South Plains Band Camp
South Plains Band Camp Information
Date: June 8-12, 2026
Concert: June 13 at the Texan Dome– Time to be announced
Lunch: Students may bring a sack lunch each day or, they can eat in the snack bar on the SPC campus or the can purchase a meal ticket to eat in the SPC Cafeteria.
Cost: $95.00 (Abernathy Band will pay $35.00 of each students fees) total Cost $60.00
Any student that does not finish camp, will need to repay the band $35.00
Time: 7:20 am return 5:00 pm
Where: Meet at Band Hall
We will send forms home 5/20 and the need forms back by the 5/25th.
A meal ticket may be bought to eat in the Cafeteria for $35.00 for the week or they can bring a lunch.
